The event gathered veterinarians and scientists from across the world to present and discuss the latest advances in the field of #VeterinaryDermatology

🎯 The congress covered the hottest topics in veterinary dermatology including trends in skin #genomics and #genetics. The scientific program featured several lectures on these topics:

🧬 Genetics and environmental role in canine atopic dermatitis

🧬 Immunotherapy and genetics: The past, present and future of allergen immunotherapy

🧬 Genetics and developmental biology of canine hair follicle disorders

🧬 Gene mapping approaches in cutaneous disorders: genome-wide association and sequencing (GWAS)

🧬 The quantification of the normal flora of the abdomen of normal dog’s skin: A pilot study

🧬 Prevalence of mecA, mecC and Panton-Valentine-Leukocidin genes in clinical isolates of Staphylococcus pseudintermedius from dermatological canine patients
